Dakota bar and restaurant
Scottsdale, AZ
Vital Stats:
Opened: 2015
Owned: Stockdale Capital
Size: 4,700 SF
Team: Brick & West Design, MSA Consulting Engineers, MBJ Structural Engineers, SherCon
Brick & West led the architectural and interior design for Dakota Bar and Restaurant in Scottsdale. Located in the heart of the Scottsdale Entertainment District between the W Scottsdale Hotel and Maya Day + Night Club, this new 4,700 SF restaurant and bar is the final piece of a puzzle that started for the owners of the W Hotel several years ago, and for us more than 10 years ago while creating the overall master plan for the Scottsdale Entertainment district.
The single-story building is home to a new restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a state-of-the-art bar and lounge with a huge 1,600 square-foot wrap-around patio. Massive glass doors blend the indoor and outdoor spaces, and the wood-plank flooring flows across the entire interior space. The patio’s mature olive trees that provide all-day-long shade and a comfortable perch from which to people watch. In addition to the primary food and drink venue, a walk-up juice and coffee bar brings fresh cold-press juices, smoothies, pastries and unique brewed espresso drinks to the area.
