The design for Hop Social Tavern draws inspiration from all of the places we have discovered in our travels that exude a feeling of comfort. From the golden hues in the reclaimed wood in the dining room, to the made-in-America solid wood tables, to the hand-made ceramic tiles, the material palette was selected to speak directly to our senses.
A global search for the perfect vintage fixtures yielded what is now an eclectic selection of re-purposed lighting. The same meticulous care and craft found in Hop Social’s culinary selections can be found throughout the interior and exterior spaces. A variety of seating from banquettes to booths, and low and high tables throughout the bar and dining room provide an inviting setting spanning from happy hour to a family dinner.
A chef’s table for eight is set adjacent to the exposition kitchen in a space with a twenty-foot ceiling and a custom chandelier. The energy inside the space is fueled by the activity at the bar and, across the dining room, the exposition kitchen. Designed to invite guests to watch the art of preparing the food, the kitchen’s open plan creates a dynamic anchor to the main dining room by celebrating the ritual of dining out.
The bar is a comfortable, intimate setting with gorgeous high-top banquette seating lining the walls and a stunning island bar featuring a stunning array of fifty-two beer taps. The copper-clad beer lines fly overhead through the dining room delivering ice cold beer to the bar. Custom designed leather sofas composed on a field of cement tile compete the main dining room seating composition adjacent to the bar. The vintage accent furniture was sourced from as far away as Europe and Scandinavia to find just the right pieces to engender the feeling of comfort and familiarity that is Hop Social.
